Until we Love

Until we Love

A Poem by harlem_knight

Stars shine like the eyes of the pure
And moons are full
Some are wise.
But most are fools

Some use love as their only weapon
While others choose hate
Many don’t know which to pick
But all of us debate

Wonder if our purpose here
To show the world what we know to be clear

Or time aside with minds alike
Are others like us who we are meant to find

What is the truth,
We will never know
Until we love
We will never grow

Without true trust,
We’ll never love
Just ask the ones
Who trust no more

They run,
They hide,
They cheat,
They lie,
Like ugly rugs but my oh my

Not poem nor prose
Nor written song
Can portray love
In its purest form
