A Poem by M'Fun Keap
"

The Prince and the pauper, A call to humility and Love

"

Let me take a minute to remind you

Of what and where you were when I found you

Dejected, crippled, cold and alone

With no friends to call your own

I looked at you from My Glorious throne

And upon you MY GRACE and MERCY was shown

In love I left my heavenly home

To call you my chosen one

Royalty Undercover

I was here to serve

Put aside CROWN and POSITION

For you I came to save

I took the burden you carried

Stripped MYSELF of MY TUNIC so you could be clothed

Washed off your dirty sheets

Bent down to wash your feet

I took your prison clothes

And in its place gave you MY ROYAL ROBE

Traded your jail chains

And showed you the way to MY HOME

All I asked was to do the same to MY BROTHER

Be humble, show the same love to another

But instead of doing the same for MY SISTER

You sit as lord and slave-master over MY MOTHER

You now contend with ME for MY GLORY!

And try to UNSEAT ME from MY THRONE!

Taking MY PRAISE as your own

Oh! how little you know!

You take MY ROD as your SCEPTER

And MY STAFF as your WHIP

Your robe made FROM THE WOOL OF MY LAMBS!

Your carpet woven FROM THE FLEECE OF MY SHEEP!

REMEMBER! REMEMBER! That which was so soon forgotten!

Your life and all you own amount to nothing!

The two great commands, one remains unchanging!

THE LORD ALONE IS KING! THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM!
