YOU AND I TOGETHER

YOU AND I TOGETHER

A Poem by Heather Burns
"

you and I emerging as one

"
When are
dreams
and
reality
ever to
meet

My
basking
in your
presence

Running
my hands
over your
body

Touching
your soft
spots

Enjoying
your
presence

You
lying
in my
arms

Renewing
our love
vows

You and I
together
enjoying
each other

Emerging
as one.

That is the way of it, Heather! My husband and I will be married 20 years next month. He holds me in his arms every night. Lovely stuff here. Angi~

so very romantic :) The way you have spilled your desires onto the page, how beautiful to renew vows, affirming the strength of a bond that can not be broken. simply written but so powerful.
