Silence

Silence

A Poem by Soul Cemetery

Five words screamed
In the silence of four walls.
Perforating the lives of the people inside

One standing head to the floor
As the other stares in disbelief
At the words he’s just heard.

Nothing will be the same.
Worlds blown into particles on the breeze.
So easy to destroy
Harder to regain.

The years dissolve
Nothing remains

One standing head to the floor
As the other stares in disbelief
At the words he’s just heard.

I don’t love you anymore
