Trainwreck Of Hearts

Trainwreck Of Hearts

A Poem by Soul Cemetery

As we reach the end of the line
the train wreck in the snow.
The carrions pick at the carcass
of the love we used to know.
The blackness of reality settles like a shroud.
The feelings of love and intimacy
lost within the gathering crowd.
My love grows ever stronger.
Your respect it slips away.
Torn and battered in the wreckage.
Maybe,
to be found one day
