Unapproachable

Unapproachable

A Poem by fearlessinHim
"

a kyrielle sonnet. about how being a closed person can make you unapproachable

"

Have I been unapproachable?

I never thought to ask you that.

While you say I’m a perfect girl,

I feel like an oyster that lost its pearl.

What you see is the part of me

That’s been polished and refined.

Its making was a messy whorl.

I feel like an oyster that lost its pearl.

It’s hard for me to open up,

But so that our friendship can grow,

Know that I too have been a wretched girl.

I feel like an oyster that lost its pearl.

Have I been unapproachable?

I feel like an oyster that lost its pearl.
