UNTITLED

A Poem by Taji Herbert

thank you very much mister robot for helping me escape just when i needed to.

I know i could not have walked the path of coal heated anguish with my faith alone

It is destiny that i walk a long path

Lashes every step of the way , after they praise my every step with palms along the way

So Jesus we are just alike, well alot alike i should say

Never shall i turn water to wine but words to rhyme is a might

Never could i Feed the masses with one loaf and one fish, but their minds will forever flourish once they have partaken in my words

I could never make some blind so they could see the light

But I surely can turn out the lights so they will appreciate what they once had.

And if you have seen me walk on water assure my feet were also submerged

Sometimes the master has to be the servant, and the teacher a pupil but the lessons i have to teach are not yet done
