Wasted

Wasted

A Poem by heido

Lovely, a place of peace

Neverending unconditional love

Friendships come and gone

Trials, tribulations, revelations

I am twisted turned about, carved anew

False assistance, a new perspective

Wtih faith comes harder times

Where we are challenged by the faithless

The Godless

How can one such love extend it's hand

When it is being puppeted by the immoral

The backhanded words of a friendship

I lose and am lost

"turn the other cheek"

So that it may be struck again

Make it a mortal blow

Show my damnation and spit me out

I wish for reverence

I wish to be blinded and know of my maker

You're coming in the wrong direction

Do not lead, I will not follow

I will walk beyond thee

You see nothing, hear very little and talk without quiet

You are a hudger of great strengths

You know not of mine

My strength is to live on

You will not be forgotten for you are a lesson learnt

A lesson of loyalty and trust

Built on foundations of satire

You seek to know nothing for you know all

Ha

Walk endlessly in ignorance and thou shalt find thee alone

Wasted, immoral, desemated

I will not walk to thee, but around thee

Think not of my gratitude for it is gone

You are not a consequence

You are a catalyst and I will forget thee

Burn dear love, burn dear friend

Fake all that you must to be as you are

I am declaring my independence

And like that of Angels, I bade you be gone

Fall, as you must

Seek not again my council nor my charity

I wash myself clean of your pride

I feel that you have taken a jumble of emotions and have found a way to express them fully in very creative ways. A worthy accomplishment indeed.

The poem is so relatable to everyone, I think the way you address the "you" in this poem is so effective.

This is very powerful. I liked it quite a lot!

"Trials, tribulations, revelations"
True friendships have no revelations for they never end. Love never fails.

''You will not be forgotten for you are a lesson learnt"
This is cold but truthful. You were not a friend, but a lesson.

"Walk endlessly in ignorance and thou shalt find thee alone"
You may choose to have your false friendships and never learn, and in that you are choosing to live alone.

"I wash myself clean of your pride"
Iniquity is a painful burden and unnecessary. Forget those that are empty.

Epic! ♥

Strong and powerful poem. People who waste time. Use and abuse need to have a mark on them. I like the whole poem. Ending was perfect.
