RECOLLECTING MYSELF

RECOLLECTING MYSELF

A Poem by HERA HASSAN
"

THIS POEM HAD BEEN WRITTEN IN ONE OF THOSE TOUGH PHASES OF MY LIFE. HAPPY READING :)

"
Picking up broken pieces of mine
I try to fix them together again
But seems I've forgotten the layout
between judgement of losses and gains

No I ain't crying
I'm letting go off the guilt
And yes I'm not weak
Just strong enough to rebuilt

It is an inexplicable phase
to chase out a chunky hit
I shall give some time to me
a week or two; to return fit

This time I stand alone
for it's gotta be a perfect choice
For that I must stay aloof
to hear what speaks my inner voice
