Fallguy

Fallguy

A Poem by Daniele

open, broken
down he slips
hand unclenching
power ebbed
falling backward
lost his grip
eyes pretending
there's no web

feel like running
mind's a jail
tries to repent
made in vain
sliding backward
soul for sale
devil's playground
adds his name

wished he'd never
took the bait
sunshine dims
he's melting down
in the mirror
reflection fades
gone forever
just a shadow now

spirits sing
regretful tunes
all in all
is all he'll be
past and present
so confused
looking at you
i see me

About
I like dancing with llamas and kidnapping corn snakes and flirting with flies in my dotted pajamas and hoping that someone will finally smell me and tell me my toes are the door to their mind and mayb.. more..
