The Luck of the Return (Sad Savior)

The Luck of the Return (Sad Savior)

A Poem by Plagued Monumentally

Before you,

there was anger,

there was anguish,

and there was danger,

there was baneful arguments,

and sardonic hate,

all I wanted to do was escape.

Abstruse thoughts,

phantasmal environment,

there was a dark hole

where my heart should be,

acerbic blood running through

my veins,

and my delirium mindset

drove me mad.

The white horse running along the

amethyst horizon,

making me realize how unique this night was,

and all the malevolent thoughts

washed away,

your paramount eyes

made my heart escape its cadaver.

My cavernous eyes

turned into scintillating orbs of

impeccable halcyon,

because of the way you looked at me.

You saved me,

from myself,

I guess everyone needs a hero sometimes,

to realize that they are worth

saving.

Wow two poems in a row now about heroism, this is the second time tonight that this has happened. How weird that certain themes are coming along tonight. well done and I enjoyed the read.

A kid's hero is a ' great champion of all the world.' Kids love heroes and little princesses like heroines.
