I did something out of spite

I know now it was not right

The friendship I had was once true

But now it’s gone, it makes me blue

 

To understand the impact it would have

I changed of life not for good but for bad

You trusted me with everything you said

And I threw it away with the thoughts in my head

 

I’m sorry for betraying you

I’m sorry, that you got screwed

I’m sorry and know your disgust

I’m sorry that I have broke your trust

 

I hope one day our friendship can mend

And that we can be friends again

I promise you I won’t throw it away

And that we can take it day by day
