Revered Return

Parallels of new realities leave room for a hope once thought unattainable

Pushing back from the grain of the mundane, we remain here

Solely stuck pleasantly in a repeating dream of echoing laughter and

spiraling thoughts, getting lost and becoming found

Redone beginnings complete the repeat of a hello once gone

Returning with an augmented flame not unlike the first

Pausing in disbelief as the world continues, time stops

Here

I revere

Taking solace in places of familiar faces in the apathy races

Smiling in billows of unchained adoration rendering me

Warmed with mutual descant of joined harmonies that leave all unkind eyes behind

I love the disordered feeling of this, the idea of returning to a place where we felt appreciated. It reflects the repeating nature of our experiences, how we meet them again as a new person; they are familiar but altogether different - you can never go home again - still it is a welcome thing to return to ourselves, to be reminded of the good in us, what is worthy in us of being celebrated. Just my thought while reading...thanks, good stuff!

Thank you! Disordered and returning to a place of appreciation is exactly what I was feeling when I wrote this. Repeating nature of experiences, definitely. In addition, I love how this spoke to you in a more internal way, a welcoming return to ourself, reminded of the good in ourselves, etc. Looking at the place I came from when I was writing it, it is fitting in that way and little did I know!
