Detached

Detached

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

My gaze is lost in the scene before me

The wind has some quarrel with the trees

I proceed calmly down the leaf-strewn path

That which I believed would destroy me

Barely leaves a mark

How much there is to live for!

How much there is to be done!

His frigid breath keeps me lively

As I scurry on towards my Home

Where warmth awaits

This is so deep ,how you mingle everything..how everything is mixed
to walk a lonely path ..i may be running to my demise
for who knows how much am i to live
is there much left for me to do
kind of despair strikes me
but there comes a frigid air
it will carry me still some more,i know
i still have some more time to live and walk on by
and be much alive still..till when its time
how you capture this ..how strange and dreamy all this
its just you way..

. beautiful ... deconstruction of reconstruction ... that one walk home can have the compelling ability to mean so much ... you negotiate the obstacles with poetic resilience and grace ...
