Overexertion

Overexertion

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Tell me not that

All will be well

For in this state

I cannot believe you

Hold me close

And say

I love you, dearest

Hush

I am here

Do not exert your lips

In gargantuan contortions of

Words

Very tender in words how to tell him, just dont start..
Dont tell me everything is Ok ,for i dont feel it that way
just hold me tight ,wanna feel you close and hear your words
even if you dont say them, how they sound,i feel sweet and safe
all this body so tense ,now like suddenly all is alright again
lovely write..

Lovely read. I enjoy how you kept the piece short so that it may fit within its meaning. Very nice.

Great poem. Sometimes it's the words that are left unsaid that matter or even hurt the most.
