Kindred Spirits

Kindred Spirits

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

The silence had not the silence of silence

Nor the strangeness found between strangers

The music of the evening still coursed

Pleasantly through our veins

Sweetened by the golden sweetness

Divine gift of the bees

That was seductively swimming

In the fragrant tea

Like fishermen intent on fishing

We pulled secrets and stories

Out of the caves hidden deep within our souls

That happened to smile upon each other

Lighting the darkness of the night

woven together like a fine tapestry..level upon level.. metaphors abounding in revealed depths of meaning...Like fishermen intent on fishing

We pulled secrets and stories

Out of the caves hidden deep within our souls

That happened to smile upon each other

Lighting the darkness of the night

Ohh how i like your style, you flip from one to head to next
we look deep in our souls for anything ,stories and words to bring all close
to kill this strangeness all around,to warm what is almost freezing
better than nothing ,some light in a very dark night, that went so well
lovely write..

Reminds me of my early years of adolescent discovery, skinny-dipping in the thought pools of new found spirits.

Oh.... this is way cool .....
Like the end of the night and only a few remain seated 'round the bonfire.... secrets and stories..... really like this my friend.
