Ode To The Sun

Ode To The Sun

A Poem by Thomas Hews
"

A poem in triplets written for Uni. I like it

"

Many times I have seen

The sun shine so bright

And delicious it has been

Many times the light

of life has caught my eye

and blessed my sight

With light a sigh

and here comes the night

when evening draws nigh

Many times I’ve seen

the sun shine so bright

and delicious it has been

This is beautiful. Simple & short, showing the wonderfulness of the sun and how it can affect a person. (That's what I need in this cloudyville right now!) The 3rd stanza is amazing, Thomas. 'Light a sigh' . . . what great imagery. Keep it up, this is grand! :) Flora.
