Falling upon those intricacies!

Falling upon those intricacies!

A Chapter by hiren

Anna sat in the silent shade of a cherry tree. Her strong, slender fingers holding a fallen spray of sweet pink flowers. A blackbird was singing. White clouds danced the sky. Restless, she moved the tilt of her right index finger.  Artist gave an exasperated sigh. Her 'wretched fidgeting' was his bete noir. She frowned, opened wide her eyes in mock fear, then - seeing his scowl lines scrunch into a mess, whispered, 'Sorry, love, my bad.'

He shrugged, - near enough indifferently, shook his head.  Not saying a word, he stood back to peer at whatever. then again, put brush to canvas.

Appears to me that

I am but a creation

a gold framed miniature

painted

with a brush

made from finest sable

perhaps, little else

other than this man's

considered strokes.

birthed I am

a mere speck of space

drifting lonely

from a distant star - once,

hid 'tween peaks

riddled with memories

made anywhere

but the bluest blue or

that Garden of Ever ..

you,  mixer of rainbows

would color

my every thought

leap me

into fantasies so foreign

their language would bewitch

my thinking,

I smile because - I do

succumbing to another's life.

scarlet studies weep eyes

once brilliant blue

now with grey

trickling, falling

upon intricacies we singly

need know, translating

with care sans mutual

misunderstanding!

Suddenly awaking from something from somewhere, thoughts thought, Anna moved. Skirt trailing on the damp-day grass she slowly crawled to where the man stood. Laughing, She arched her back, flexed her body then - pretending to groan she managed to stand.  'Oh my goodness, not doing that again!'  Her back arched comfortable, she smoothed her skirt. Hair combed with those dexterous fingers she stood facing him. raised her eyebrows and. laughed.

Tutting, wanting to appear indifferent, Louis ruffled his hair then, smoothed it into a strangely surreal hairstyle that made Anna laugh!  He knew she would react that way, she always did.  He'd won!  Loving her was his pain, his gain, his everything. He gave her lips a brief kiss before moving upwards to the tip of her nose.

They belonged together, even when apart. Louis was her absolute happiness. He had studied her carefully, intently.  He knew her nakedness.  She knew his.
