Even if it was short

All of those moments

Though there were few

Will be lost like tears in the rain

But every time I step in a puddle

Your face will float atop

I can splash and kick

But every time your there

Your smiling face

No worry in your eyes

I will only remember the short time we had

But that was the best time so far

And though we will both move on

And we will both find love

You will always be there

Even the shortest time

Can burn a memory

Into a mind
