Discrimination

Discrimination

A Poem by Lassian Willow
"

About a few things

"
I hate the fact that people are discriminated because of who they love
The colour of their skin
Or the way they talk

People need to realise that we are all the same
We are all different in our own different ways
And all we want is to be accepted
But I guess that's just to hard to do

People get hurt
People go mental
People get sick
People go home in tears
and some people even die

This is not the way to live
In fact it's the complete opposite

I wish it could be different
But for now and maybe ever
This wish is not going to come true

i love how bluntly you wrote, i could hear this being spoken in my mind. i, also, love how you used the phrase "go mental". to me, it brought reality and personality into it.
