Not good enough.

Anything you try,

Something whispering,

Always taunting,

Not good enough.

Working and crying,

Working as hard as you can,

Never ceasing the laughs taunt,

Not good enough.

Finally giving up,

Sinking into nothingness,

In your head the voices scold;

Not good enough.

This is a very heartfelt write that effectively communicates the frustration and sadness you experience when it seems like even though you are devoting every fiber of your soul to a task it still does not suffice to accomplish the task- or please whoever you're trying to please, be it a parent, teacher, boss, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.
