Let Down your Walls

Let Down your Walls

A Poem by David

BREAK APART THE BRICKS
INSIDE
Your Mind!  LET DOWN
Your walls / DON'T Get
Too Attached to
My Body
I'll Not BE
Alive FOREVER and ever

But be my friend while
I'm here / Tell me all
you know about life
in general and all
the small things too /
Let down your walls /
Make it easier on us
both / Live in this big
beautiful world with
each other / Make sure /
Make sure you don't
break my heart as
you break apart the
bricks inside your
mind / Your mind is a
beautiful place / Don't
let it go to waste
like last time / Last
time was a beautiful
place as well / But
we blew it all to Hell /
And that's not good /
Break apart the bricks /
Let down the walls
