Beware the Romance

A poem describing Juliet's mistake.

Oblivious to monsters, she calls out,

"Wherefore art thou?"

Man is monster. Love, a monstrosity. Not knowing the horrors of this strange emotion she calls out to the man she "loves".

I find it very hard to express a lot in few words. That is one reason why I read a lot of short poetry, trying to learn the technique.. how one can say so much in too few words. This is one of the best examples of such a write.
