Danger

Danger

A Poem by David

Ziggy, ziggy, pop, pop

No one knows

Everybody stop, stop

Take off your clothes

Waiting on you,

To wait on me

Tell me you love me

So confusing

Tomorrow, tomorrow

Where has it gone

It passed by yesterday

It's been so long

Ziggy, ziggy, pop, pop

Don't you know

If you ever stop, stop

I'm gonna go

Take off my head

And look inside

Lay on your side

Tell me a lie

Forget about this

Forget about that

We're just friends

We're just friends

Take me somewhere

Take me there

We're more than friends

We're more than friends

You left me in pain

You left me in the rain

We're no longer friends

We're no longer friends

Ziggy, ziggy, pop, pop

No one knows

Never ever stop, stop

Just to take off your clothes

Your note that you wanted to do something serious and fun at the same time made me want to read this.

I'm glad I did. It was a light read with enough of a twist of themes to make me search for meaning in it.

I felt as if you've accomplished your goal then. It was both serious and fun, especially the ziggy, ziggy, pop, pop part. (: Good job.
