Words, they mean nothing and shock?

Words, they mean nothing and shock?

A Poem by David

Words, they mean nothing
like the Jabberwock
and a clock
Tick-Tock
never dying
but dead
still, instead...
it takes flight
into the night
dreaming of air
through which it could glide
making sounds in the sky
Grammar on the moon
floats away too soon
and we all knew
not knowing those tunes
Slip away, fade away
walk away,
Always stay
Like the night
no more fright
but take on the load
like an igneous toad
Punctuation
of nations
never sounded so loud
never felt so proud
Take a bow...
and ignite the fire
beneath that great liar
Hop aboard my palab-car
I'll take you too far
never stop for a drink
but slip 'til we sink
And it rides through the feeling
of Tick-Tock
and shock
