Meticulous Attention Regarding Interstellar Observation

Meticulous Attention Regarding Interstellar Observation

A Poem by hoopscoop3000

I have traveled worlds upon worlds for you

An unbridled rage of the heart, your heart

A climb through twisted metal which I knew

Reaching you, I knew, this was just the start.

Tubes and Pipes, Sewers unlike any ever seen

Treasure troves of the shining coin, it’s gold.

Yet it means nothing without you, my queen.

Oh! How I miss your love. For I grow cold.

The damned Simian which yields my progress, I hate thee!

I fight tooth and nail with one time allies

Slimy, lizard-like foes that gobble worlds, I shan’t flee!

I will never end the fight, for I will rise:

Yet I am but the loneliest plumber.

This concept could not be any dumber.

This was actually pretty great. I love how you spun the story from what I saw as a tragic sort of angle. This was a wonderful idea and is even better that you found a way to make that idea into a brilliant reality. Great job, I like this a lot. Keep writing!

If it helps. Read the first letter of each word in the title. Might guide you a bit better :)
