Stability

Stability

A Poem by Irena
"

In school we had to write a poem about something in nature so I wrote about a tree. That sounds like a boring description but I promise its about more than just a tree.:)

"

Tethered firmly to the ground,

Its roots spread out in a web of complexity,

Holding it firmly in place,

Yet each one plunging in and out of the soil,

Like the Lochness Monster,

In a lake of dirt.

A tree has such stability,

A quality to be admired,

In such a changing world.

Minutes pass.

Birds perch on the branches.

Bugs flitter about the leaves.

Breezes pass like invisible spirits.

Yet the tree stands firm,

A strong presence,

Ever watching,

Barely changing,

And still, it seems content.

My mind cant think beyond the tree too. It is not boring,it's interesting. Nice definition of stability.
Do you mind opening my mind up?
