Different

Sometimes death is the answer.
Now I know your saying, "don't think that way."
But just hear me out,
Listen to what I have to say.

Some have to die,
It teaches people to live.
While we say it's not fair,
Remember all they did?

Some are our heroes,
While others, secretly cry at night.
Doesn't make them any less,
We all fight a fight.

But here we are,
Some feel they don't belong.
Some feel they cannot stay,
Who are we to tell them wrong.

I'm not saying we all should die,
Or that our lives are any less.
But remember we all are different,
And have different answers to the test.

I don't want to interpret your poem in a wrong way... I think it's important to understand the meaning of the poem in a different way... Your poem has respectfully said what some some people think, we are all different, although it's our responsibility to encourage them to live and fight out their struggles but there are some places where we can't reach, that part stays dark... There are some pain that cannot be cured and I think you are pointing those hardships and pains... It's a thought provoking write no doubt frnd...

not die
this is a troubling poem

yet, I feel we need to fight ideas like suicide, especially for young people, who should be encouraged not to despair, above all

hmmmm I appreciate seeing what you took from this. Although this isn't prosuicide like you feel it is.

This was showing how there are people who are born to be heroes, war, everyday etc...
but the other line is showing the darker side, usually the people we call selfish. It's more of understanding those people and why they feel that way. I wrote this to cope with my friend who had killed himself because I feel I was to blame. It's a poem showing that we all have a choice and even though death isn't the answer to a sound mind...sometimes the mind that cannot be calm thinks it is. The reason why it is called "Different" is to show the different perspective. Please don't call my poetry wrong if you didn't interrupt it the way it was written...because I'm sorry to say I wrote it for a different type of audience.
