Farewell my friend

My friend pass away today. He just went to sleep and never woke up. It came as a shock. He was always the life of the party. He will be missed.

I woke up one morning still tired and sore

I woke up to a beautiful morning...and something more

The sun is high up but the light just don't seem to reach my eyes

I grab my phone and read the lines on it..and reality just came crashing down

So maybe this is why the world seemed a lil' less bright today

So maybe this is why I remember everything they say

About life and how we're taking it for granted
About friendships and the things we really wanted

So maybe this is why the world seem to lose its shine a bit
And maybe this is why somethings just don't seem to fit

...Maybe this is why there an emptiness inside....

You've left for planes unknown and left us stranded
We didn't spend enough time together..but my friend, it was quite the ride.
