Fear keeps me tied

High walls to guard my heart

Barbed wire to stop trespassers

Having you is all I ever waned

But my walls remain

Fear keeps me from speaking

From saying what you mean to me

 

I want to break the walls

Remove the wire

Remove the obstacles

But fear remains

 

To have your arms around me

To have your kisses be mine

To have you look at me

Like I’m the only one

To be happy

To hold your hand

To be yours

To have this dream come true
