Powerless

I promised

I promised my heart

there would be no more pain

no agony, no hurt

I swore 

I swore to myself

no more vulnerability

no caring, no love

Then I met you

then I got confused

what I wish I could say

what I can't do

It feels like everything is crashing

crashing around me

I'm powerless
