Standing close to me
close enough to feel your heartbeat
So many things that I'm thinking
Why can't I put two words together

Hiding behind these shiny eyes
why can't I even tell you
what am I afraid of
of you finding out

I know what I'm thinking
why won't the words come on out
if I could look
you straight into your eyes
they could tell you all
these things
that I want to say

about the way your smile
they way you laugh
the way you eyes are
asphyxiating

if you just knew
I wouldn't have to talk

the way your smile
shines through the darkest
of the night

the way your laugh
could make anyone
smile

the way your eyes
shine like the stars

if you just knew
how amazing you are
I wouldn't have to talk
