I was born this way

Born of two different worlds

From America and the Islands of the Philippines

Born with darker skin

No more than 5ft2

Hair dark as night

Dark eyes that shine

Born a dancer and an artist

Born headstrong and determined

Born bisexual and proud

Raised to be strong

Raised to be brave

Raised by my father

Raised to hold my head up high

I'm beautiful in my own way

I was born this way
