Addiction

Addiction

A Poem by Erin
"

I'm posting a lot of my old stuff since I'm in a dry spell, so I mostly was writing songs a few years back so the style is completely different, fyi.

"

There is a Beast inside of me;

It hungers for and won't let me be;

It KILLS until it gets its way,

I give it the sight of you

and then-

Hey! The pain is gone,

satisfied.

There's no way to hide from;

There's no way to run from;

My Addiction!

To you!

{

It hurts not to see you;

It hurts not to breathe you;

it hurts not to have you

Knight and Day.

}x2

To go throught Withdrawal,

To shiver with cold,

To cure this illness,

It;s you I should hold,

But you are with
HER;

So it will thrive.

My Addiction,

To:

YOU

Oh, how our addictions come in many forms. Nicely done.
