A Poem by Rose
"

Random other venting poem

"

I held your hand,

You held mine;

The coal was burning at our feet.

But neither one of us could run away;

We pretended everything was okay.

A quick flash of flames caused our hands to part,

And now we're on our own,

Burning,

And afraid to meet again.

I write poems, some lines rhyme, they aren't necessarily meant to. Once again, I spent about two seconds on this with no corrections, so it probably sucks.

This spark of love's curiousity is what this speaks of to me. Something new and scary that flashed upon the eyes and mind causing a reaction of fear. That fear is unknown and not understood by all so the two keep seperated. Yet in their hearts they yearn to meet once again.

Much enjoyed!
