A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

This poem plays with the idea of my heart and brain being "stolen" by a romantic interest.

"
Are you secretly a doctor?
Perhaps by the name Frankenstein?
'cause I'm missing the heart and brain
I could've sworn were mine
I don't mean to point fingers,
but you could steal them easily
Because of how beautiful you are
and how you conduct yourself so sweetly
Don't know why you need my heart
You have your own and I heard it's large
- and I have seen proof of the same
You could approach a lion and make it tame
Would my brain be any use to you?
'cause when you're within 15 feet
its IQ drops to two,
so it's at best a pet Zombie treat
You could always be innocent
You look like an angel after all
and I've never seen you belligerent
Did you get to Earth by taking a fall?

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
