My voice

My voice

A Poem by Liz Alexander
"

A fast free write during class. I barely looked at my screen.

"
Breath in and out.
anxiety is flowing through my body
dreading this moments in the day

I can hear words
some get mumbled
when I am processing them in my mind

Days are getting crazy
As my life has been lazy
Now I am speaking out

With realization you never
Know what going to happen
Or what is going to come out of the wood work

When I open my mouth
Will people run
At the time I finally get my voice
