Its starts now

Its starts now

A Poem by Liz Alexander

Today time is slowly coming
I can wait till the new pages
Pass by
Tell me all the times in your life
Let me dream away
Self loving dims in the past
Days seem to fade

The jumping days are over
Watching the mash pit collide
The stepping on others toes
Now this is party rock
Dancing like goofballs
Our lungs scream out
For oxygen as we scream out
The  lycris  to all the songs
The band sings
Having fun just being
A college kid

A chapter of my life has passed
Opening a new one
A new start at college life
It starts now
