How Strange Can We Be?

How Strange Can We Be?

A Poem by herfallacy

I sailed to the moon
And collected the stars
We met at the horizon
Which I thought was far

I just met you, months ago
And your name is the only thing I know
I was starstruck by your beauty -
Your smile, laughter, and bravery

We started from being a stranger
Before you knocked into my heart like a gentle lover
In my head, your face always lingers and departs
Look at me like a marvelous paint of art

How strange can we be?
I am caught up between "maybe's"
I feel like a star that is waiting for its moon
While you are out there busy chasing your sun at noon
