Answer Me?

Answer Me?

A Poem by iamshadowine

Can you tell me why I exist,
No feeling in my heart persist?
Can you tell me why I die,
Everyday a monotonous cry?
To change the past, or to strive,
For the better, or is it all a lie?

I had some feelings of the same kind the day before. Thoughts about as to why do I exist, why am I gifted dolefulness by others, why do I have to die, etc. The past- as the truth stands- cannot be changed, what matters is the present, but when you make a mistake, then you regret it for lifetime- wishing that you could just go back once and revert what you did. Beautiful poem. Keep writing.

thank you :)
we often seem to be fooling ourselves, don't we?
and we question why we exist but that our heart is just not in it...

we go through the motions, and for what?
