Agasga

Agasga

A Poem by icaros13
"

"It's raining."

"
It has been so long since I have
Witnessed the brilliance of lightning,
Heard the music of thunder.
Self pity stirs from fitful sleep
Sensing the washing of the rain.

I love this one, not only for the Cherokee reference, but for the cleansing. Thank you for the review it was very nice. The rain gives me life, refreshes, cleanses and restores the hope of a dry world, you have done it a beautiful justice with this poem :)

About
For we have thought the larger thoughts And gone the shorter way. And we have danced to devil's tunes, Shivering home to pray; To serve one master in the night, Another in the day. ..I do love.. more..
