I heard a Nightingale's song tonight
She sang in deepest shades of blue

Her voice so sweet, and I wept, 'tis true
When the Owl told me it was you

so beautifully expressed in just a few lines you capture delightful in the saddest of ways, someone told me that owls are the fortune tellers of death :( but there are many deaths and many births and one always begins with the other :) so not to worry for the nightingale, we will all begin again.
