conundrum

A Poem by icaros13

Someone should have
told you it's not fair
to invade a man's thoughts
while he's fishing.

That's the way
it's been lately, though.
You show up in the
most awkward of places.

This has been going on
for quite some time,
I've just been enjoying
some serious denial.

I guess I could open up
and reveal to you my thoughts,
but its just not my style and
some would make you blush.

I could sculpt my
feelings on the page
with eloquence
and flair; but I won't.

I'll probably do
the same thing
I've been doing
for the last year.

i like the contradiction in this...don't invade my thoughts while i'm fishing, but i will let you see my thoughts in a poem...the heck with eloquence, could i have some more bait.

Clear and gentle. Feels as if I reading your mind, while listening to your heart beats..Very tender write !

About
For we have thought the larger thoughts And gone the shorter way. And we have danced to devil's tunes, Shivering home to pray; To serve one master in the night, Another in the day. ..I do love.. more..
