humble patience

humble patience

A Poem by ICS

patience
the humble bee
can buzz for you like doth for me
sweetness
exits the pores
like a soaked sponge squeezed
tightly
the skull crushing the mind's core
permeating words spelt without letters
to be carried and received by the wind
the blind pigeon delivers
but to whom?

the mail's set sail like water in a pail
jack's known jill through cyclical birth and death
revolving around edges seems to fail
like lost hope gasping for that one last breath

drops in buckets
ripple with ease
and luck is to muck it
for thorns do not please
the luck may be good
may be bad, may be quick
interested in center
the tootsie roll lick.

Sexy and cunning
witty mouth running
quiet and still
lone solitude thrill
for which or what is
it that you do want
for desire's to lick
smooth adamant.

discuss till you're blue
arms up like you're through
but can you know true
without more of a clue?

how to collectively know
a mind always in flow
flux like a crow
caught in a tornado
would be a topic of discussion
beating your heads, your minds' percussion

So I hear far away
before words they do say
simple adjectives miss the mark
all staying up until the dark
hour arrives when you ponder no more
"He's just a lost soul, to god we implore"

To wake the next day with smiles on their faces
Their dreams are all safe from public disgraces
Joining the rats for more mazes and races
After the socks they tie shoes with the laces

Binding that which can set them all free
because free to be you
is free to be me.
