Painful Truth Imagined

Painful Truth Imagined

A Poem by Texas Identitycrisis

Both positive and negative reation

can be summoned forth,

even though..woe, the painful distractions.

One cannot clutch either, without succumbing to

or figuring out,

perception of images, honesty and doubt.

Pulling from places other than

preconceived notions.

Told thousands of times.

To sharpen claws

and find the highest hill and climb it?

One must find the strength

naivaté provided.

Through bitterness

and despite the truths of our seeming madness,

hearts can heal, but must first find their passion.
