Darkened Trail

A poem about the journey to finding myself. It is about deep-seated issues that haunt me every day. things that i am afraid to share for fear they will hurt me or my friends/family.

I am not your average sort of man

For you see I have these troubles, of which I cannot stand

There is no clear solution, because still I am confused

I cannot cry for help, for fear that I will be bruised

So I live my life, day to day, as I try to hide my woes

I will continue to ride this darkened trail, to find out where it goes.
