How the sky and the earth was created

I want you to show me a sky I've never seen before

and if you can't find one

I want you to make me a new one

even if it costs you your life.

I want a special sky just from you

so when I look up 

into this new sky

I can say that is is my favorite sky.

Because your flesh is the atmosphere

your blood is the stars

your tears are the clouds

and your voice is the wind that carries me.

I'll never sleep knowing you are my sky

and so I'll lay here 

letting my body rot away, dying

watching you change before my very eyes.

I will become the earth that watches the night

and the day the bathes in your light

because I give myself to you

as you gave yourself to me

so please always look down at me

so I can look up at you

my precious sky
