metamorphosis

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky
"

from ‘Amalgam’

"

while your eyes

are the ocean's abode

while the sun

is resting in palms

you are becoming

blue heaven*

Author's Note

Igor G. Balatsky
* i wrote the piece and then found out that ‘blue heaven’ was a slang name of amobarbital (formerly known as ‘amylobarbitone’). and now it’s fun to compare sacred and profane sense of the poem. that reminds me famous ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’. )
