Spring’s Gravity

Spring’s Gravity

A Poem by Will Seward
"

I wrote this for my prom date, which was just this past weekend.

"

The spring air smell

Could never be as invigorating

As it was to tell

That we created something amazing

Your soft and tender kiss

Took breath away like nothing before

The breath is the least I miss,

As my heart began to soar.

Soaring heart and breathless,

I fell for you.

Luckily it was painless-

As my intentions were true.

Your smile, a work of art,

Resists the gravity of worlds apart.
