The angel by my bed

Your lips are the way to heaven

Your arms, the way to paradise

You're the angel by my bed,

The only love of my life.

 

Wrap yourself around me,

I'd drown in you

But I'd keep you above it all

And cherish everything you do.

 

I feel lightheaded in your presence

When I look into your eyes.

And stumble over my feet

Even though I have your face memorized.

 

I look upon your dreams

And hold them in my hands

For I'd do anything for you

Because you're the only one who understands.
